Our Apartments
A. Yes, every apartment at Sea Star has stunning 180° views of the Coral Sea, and every apartment has its own private covered balcony.
A. Yes, all apartments are air conditioned with an air conditioner in every bedroom and a separate, large air conditioner for the living/dining area.
A. Yes, our one-bedroom apartments have ensuites (with shower, basin and toilet) and our two and three-bedroom apartments have ensuites off the master bedroom and a second bathroom (with bath) and a second, separate toilet.
A. Yes, all apartments have fully-equipped modern kitchens with everything you need to prepare a meal including oven, dishwasher and of course fridge.
A. Every apartment has its own laundry with washing machine and electric dryer. There is also a portable clothes-drying rack.
A. Yes, all linen is provided.
A. We supply a free starter pack in every apartment for guests’ convenience including tea, coffee, sugar milk, as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and laundry powder. Additional items can be purchased from reception and there is a supermarket nearby.
There is also a DVD player in every apartment and we have a small selection of second-hand books in reception.
A. We have all free to air channels and every apartment has an Android TV that allows for all smart apps including Netflix, Disney +, Stan, and Foxtel with your logins.
A. Yes, every apartment has a hairdryer in each bathroom.
A. Sadly we do not have in-room safes installed in our apartments
Resort Facilities
A. Yes, we have a lift in one of our apartment blocks – please advise this requirement when booking. There are no ground floor apartments.
A. Yes, every apartment has their own garage for one car. Any additional vehicles or oversized vehicles need to be arranged prior to arrival.
A. No, we do not have an onsite restaurant. There are however, dozens of restaurants and cafes in Airlie Beach and surrounds, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and tapas. You can choose from casual to a la carte and of course you can prepare meals in your apartment and there is a BBQ area.
Getting Here
A. There are daily flights into Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with Virgin, Jetstar and TigerAir (Sydney only). You can also fly into Hamilton Island and catch a ferry via Cruise Whitsundays to the Port of Airlie. If driving, exit the Bruce Highway at Proserpine.
A. We offer a door-to-door service from Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport for just $22 per person each way $11 for children under 12 and free for two-year-olds and under. A return shuttle bus is $36 per adult and $18 per child. Please let us know when booking if you require this service.
Out and About
A. Sea Star Apartments has its own onsite FREE tour booking desk and we can ensure your trips are seamless from start to finish with coordinated transfers.
We can book boat trips, parasailing, snorkelling, scuba-diving, jetskiing and kayaking, to name a few.
A. Yes – we can book you on trips to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach and we can also organise transfers to and from the ferry terminal to make your day hassle-free.
A. We are a 20-minute walk or a five-minute taxi ride to the ferry terminal at Port of Airlie, which offers daily transfers and trips to the Whitsunday Islands and reef.
A. Hamilton Island can be reached via ferry from the Port of Airlie, in town, and is between a 30-minute and one-hour boat ride depending on the route taken.
A. Abell Point Marina is a 20-minute easy walk along the Millennium Boardwalk or a five-minute taxi ride. However, most tour operators that leave from Abell Point have a complimentary transfer service.
A. There is a wide choice of car hire companies in Airlie Beach with everything from scooters and mini-mokes to larger cars and campervans.
Recreation
A. There is a family-friendly, freshwater lagoon in Airlie Beach that is non-tidal and stinger-free all year round. There is also the beach at Port of Airlie and of course, there is also the resort’s wet-edge pool.
