COVID-19 Update from Airlie Beach

Covid Safety in Airlie Beach

To all our valued guests.

With the recent developments in the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to you with the plans our team here at Sea Star Apartments are implementing to support you and your travel and isolation plans.

We have always prided ourselves in maintaining a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. This along with our resort location have made it an easy transition to offer a safe and sanitary environment for those who need to self- isolate, or just a safe stop for those travellers who are already in transit.  We have implemented a number of additional cleaning measures in our public areas and guest apartments. These measures include, but are not limited to, increased frequency to the cleaning of our public areas such as our reception, swimming pool and poolside BBQ/bathroom facilities, stairwell balustrades and our lift. Additional apartment cleaning measures have been implemented including additional disinfecting of high-touch areas.

In addition, we would like to take the opportunity to update you on the current situation within Airlie Beach. We are extremely lucky to currently have no confirmed cases of the coronavirus within our community.

Airlie Beach is still operational but restaurants, cafes, and most other shops are operating to the government set restrictions (as required at the time) with increased hygiene requirements.

We have 4 supermarkets within Airlie Beach area that are well stocked and convenient to our resort.
